Beach Themed Favours What a great idea for a beach themed wedding?
Chocolate rocks in white mini sand pails and then placed in brown sugar to replicate sand. You could even add a couple
of mini drink umbrellas to make them more colourful. If this is something you'd love to see at your wedding, we have
everything you'd need.

Dec 31st, 2011 - New Year's Eve Party What better way to ring in the new year then with an array of delicious sweets! Day 2 Knight Events organized a
New Year's Eve party at the Hellenic Community Centre and asked some of their favourite vendors from the city to be involved.
With an all black and white colour scheme...okay, maybe we threw in a touch of gold too...some of the highlights were: pearl
gumballs, peach penguins and our bundles of oreo cookies!
Dec 14th, 2011 - WCS Christmas Party The theme was Christmas but the colour scheme was purple and silver in support of the London Abused Women's Centre.
Friends, family and coworkers gathered together to celebrate a great year and to raise money and donations for the cause.
Candy Culture helped bring back the child in everyone, as men in suits and women in business attire filled their bags with
delicious treats. Candy bar highlights: Rola Cola silver balls, tiers of assorted gummies and our first attempt at introducing
our cake pop line.

Nov
25th - Paula When you think of a wedding at the end of November, you don't picture sunshine and mild temperatures,
but that is exactly what this lucky couple received. The theme was vintage and the venue was Windermere Manor; the combination
of the two were perfect. With an antique table, vintage glassware and muted colours this candy buffet fit right in with
the traditional setting of the Windermere Manor. Candy highlights: mint smoothies, sour grapefruit slices and apple
bonbons for a hint of colour.

Nov
5th - Shannon & Chris When
you plan a wedding in November, you can never be sure about the weather you're going to have to endure: snow, rain, sleet, but
this Nov 5th brought this bride a beautiful sunny and mild day. The thought of doing an all green candy bar was very
appealing to us, as we love the monochromatic look and we haven't had the opportunity to do as often as we'd like. Candy
Highlights: two different green sixlets, green apple licorice and our new candy bundles in cupcake liners.
Betty - Oct 8th, 2011 Although
there were no bride and groom present, this candy buffet was still pretty special. Created for a birthday party, this
candy buffet had a smaller guest count then we're used to, but it still got some great reviews. Candy bar highlights:
licorice cables, chocolate pretzels and blue and white swirl gummies.
Sarah & Steve - October 22nd We
first met this couple at the Bridal Show in January and their enthusiasm for candy matched our own. Wanting to do something
different for their wedding, they decided to incorporate candy into their centrepieces. Incorporate may be the wrong
word to use here, as their entire centrepieces were constructed out of candy! With a primarily purple colour
scheme we helped bring their vision to life with gummi bears, sour grape slices, old fashioned candy sticks, rock candy and
lollipops!
October 21st - Firerock Golf Club The rainy weather of Fall is upon us, but inside the Firerock Golf Club you can enjoy Autumn without the nuisance
of blowing leaves or gloomy skies. The room is decorated in the warm colours of fall and ornamental pumpkin centrepieces
create atmosphere. In the centre of the room is where we got to set up our elegant Autumn candy bar in white, cream,
yellow and brown. Candy Highlights: tootsie rolls, top banana and caramel apple jelly bellys and a tiered cake
plate full of chocolate mousse.

Rebecca & Ryan - October
8th, 2011 If you had to pick a day to be married in October, then this
was the day! The banquet room at Firerock was alive with purple: purple flowers floated in enourmous
glass centrepieces, tables set with purple napkins and placecards and a large purple curtain framed the
head table. And of course, a soon to be purple inspired candy station! Candy Bar highlights: vanilla and blackberry
jelly bellys, white chocolate pretzels, and champagne truffles.

Robyn & Brian - Sept 10th, 2011 Again Candy Culture was on the road, but
this time closer to home, Embro. We first met Brian and Robyn at the Bridal Expo in January and loved their enthusiasm
for candy. This couple tested our candy creativity with an innovative lollipop tree that turned out looking pretty darn
yummy! We love when inspiration comes from our customers. Originally the colour scheme was pink and white, but
turned into an almost completely pastel palette. Highlights on the candy bar include rockets, good and plentys and of
course a lollipop tree made entirely out of double lollis.

Pam & Jeremy - Sept 3rd, 2011 This candy bar had some wheels behind it, as we trucked up to beautiful Collingwood, Ontario on the Labour
Day weekend. We were excited to see the final product of this elegant black and white candy bar, which was quite a contrast
from other candy bars we had done over the summer. Who says that candy can't be classy? Highlights from this candy bar were:
white minty hearts, vanilla salt water taffy, peach penguins and oreo cookies!

Michelle & Ryan - June 11, 2011 These are the photos that we've been waiting for! In June my very own little sister got married and the theme
was Alice in Wonderland. Planning the wedding for over a year, it was awesome to see everything come together and perfectly,
I might add. Candy Culture, naturally, was in charge of creating a whimsical candy bar in the bride's colours of pink,
purple and green. If you are wondering about our outfits, each guest was given a character to come as - can you guess
who we are??
Heather & Marc - August 6th, 2011 Well this was an extra special candy bar...our own!! Heather was engaged in March
and planned a whirlwind wedding in only 6 months. The wedding was on a beautiful country property and had all the workings
of a Martha Stewart DIY wedding. The theme was country/picnic and the colours were red and blue and of course, she had
to have a huge candy bar to offer her guests. When the sign came down and the candy bar was open for business the guests scurried
over to fill their bags...some had 2 or 3 bags! Some of the highlights were chocolate covered pretzels drizzled with
more blue chocolate, three different type of jelly bellys, nibs and twizzlers... but the clear winner was the popeye cigarettes,
or to be more politically correct, popeye candy sticks. Congratulations to our very own Heather!

Lilka & Brad - July 30th,
2011 Candy Culture loves themed weddings and this would have to be one of our favourite themes...Willy Wonka
and the Chocolate Factory. Although we didn't set up a candy bar for this specific event, we did supply the oversized
lollipops for the bridal bouquet and centrepieces. Check out the article in the Stratford newspaper...http://www.stratfordbeaconherald.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3239996
Laura & Darryl - July 29th,
2011 This wedding was at one of our favourite locations, Firerock Golf Club in Komoka, so we were excited from
the very beginning. Not only did we get to create a pink, purple and green candy bar for Laura & Darryl, but they also
wanted matching candy flower batons. Some of the highlights from the buffet were juicy pear jelly bellys, hot
pink gumballs and green apple licorice. All communicating was done through email, as the couple is from
Eastern Canada, so we never got to meet face to face... however, we did steal a glance at some reception photos
- sorry guys we were snooping around!!
Alissa
& Ryan - July 8th, 2011 We first met Alissa and her mom in the depths of winter and visualizing a perfectly
pink candy bar with chocolate brown accents was hard to imagine. All we were thinking about was white, white and more
white. If there was a name that meant opposite of bridezella it was Alissa...calm, cool and excited about what we could do
for her big day! Our favourite combination. Not only did we create an extravagant candy bar with gourmet jelly bellys,
chocolate pretzels and salt water taffy, but we also customized candy flower batons for individual favours. There was
so much sugar in the room, I can only imagine what the dance floor looked like.
Shannon and Jamie - July 1st, 2011 What is more Canadian
than a July 1st backyard wedding? Shannon and Jamie decided to get married at a family home near Lambeth over the long weekend.
We got to set up this customized candy bar in green, white and purple under its own tent surrounded by hanging laterns.
We couldn't imagine there would be any candy left when we heard there were 25 kids in attendance! Just hope the bride
and groom got some.
